Umbrellas In Your Life

Some people view friends as umbrella. What is your mind? In my eyes, it is a truth.

I always remember some rainy days, some scenes, some stories…

Kathy is one of my best friends. In my middle school days, we got to know each other in our first year of the junior school. She is one year older than me. We are both boarder students. And can go home once a week. However, my parents were busy in business sometimes in that days. Kathy often carried me on her bike. Although the road was far and uneven in that times, she carried me all the same. I can not forget the rainy cold days. She carried me on the back of the bike. In order to protect us from the rain, I must hanging up the umbrella all the time, but my hands tired. Thus, she told me just take care of myself. Do as her words, I can protect myself without rain dropped on me and my hands wasn’t as tired as before. However, her clothes got wet quickly…

That things happened several times in our middle school days. I am very thankful of her. However, we are best friends, so I never said thanks to her. I taken it for granted and she took care of me as a happy thing at the same time in that times. We are good friends, as the same as sisters.

Now we are both take part in social work. She is far away from me. I can see her very few times one year. Here I want to say to her” thanks, dear sister! Take care of yourself! I miss you!”

Maybe friends is more than a umbrella. But when be protected by friends, she really my best umbrella! My umbrella, I miss you!
